The HTC Droid DNA and HTC J Butterfly are headed to Verizon Wireless in the US and KDDI in Japan, respectively, but those in Europe shouldn’t feel envious because it appears a global variant of the 5-inch HD phablet will be arriving in due time. Serial leakster evleaks has just posted a press photo of what’s being called the “HTC Deluxe” on Twitter. The Verizon branding has been replaced by an HTC logo for obvious reasons, but other than that it appears to be nearly identical to Big Red’s version of the smartphone. The tipster didn’t mention official specs or details, however, we can easily look to the Droid DNA for that. The international HTC DLX or Deluxe is expected to have a 5-inch 1080p FHD Super LCD3 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage and a 2020mAh battery. In regards to software, it could run either Android 4.1 or 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4+ when it’s finally launched. Unfortunately, there’s no word of a worldwide release date just yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
