Google’s 7-inch Tablet to Ship in June, Release in July?

A few months ago, DigiTimes revealed that Google would release a 7-inch Android tablet from Asus in May. Now that the month of May is coming to an end, the Taiwan-based tech news site is now claiming that a decision had been made to delay the tablet release to July, due to design and cost issues, with 600,000 units to begin shipping in June. Analysts are expecting total shipments of 2-2.5 million units by the end of 2012. Hopefully we will hear official word at Google I/O 2012 in June.
