Google is expected to finally unveil the heavily rumored 7-inch “Nexus” Android tablet, manufactured by Asus, on June 27th at Google I/O 2012 in San Francisco. The Nexus 7 tablet is reportedly already shipping and it’s calculated to hit retail stores in July. Total shipments are estimated to climb to at least three million units by the end of 2012. The WiFi-only device is said to have a front-facing camera for video chat, however, cost-cutting measures have essentially eliminated the possibility of a rear camera. Apparently, an improved Google Chrome Web browser for Android will also come preloaded on the Nvidia Tegra 3-powered tablet. As for pricing, how does $199 sound? Just a shade over a week left before we find out exact details, so sit tight, folks!
