The image posted above has been tipped as Google’s upcoming Asus Nexus 7 Android tablet, which is rumored to be unveiled at Google I/O 2012 on Wednesday, June 27. The image tip allegedly came from a leaked training document that also reveals the following specs and details for the affordable tablet: 7-inch 1280×800 IPS LCD display with 178-degree viewing angle, Nvidia Tegra 3 1.3GHz quad-core processor, GeForce 12-core GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8/16GB storage configurations, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera, no rear camera, NFC technology for Google Wallet and Android Beam, 9 hours of battery life, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Like previous rumors hinted, the Nexus 7 tablet is supposedly launching in July for $199 (8GB) and $249 (16GB). Of course, this could all be a hoax, but we’re hoping it’s the real deal. Just a couple more days until we get official word!
