EA Mobile and Firemonkeys, formerly Firemint, announced the next game in the Real Racing HD series, appropriately called Real Racing 3. RR3 features all-new licensed tracks and a bevy of licensed vehicles from a variety of manufacturers. As you can see above, the game trailer shows off some of its next-gen graphical prowess. Firemonkeys is staying quiet on which platforms will see the racer at launch, so it’s unclear if the Android variant will be released alongside the iOS (iPad, iPhone) version. It’s currently listed as “coming 2012,” but we’ll be sure to let you know when it’s officially released on either iTunes or Google Play.
Gamers will enjoy graphics that have been meticulously hand crafted to produce photorealistic visuals as they zoom around in cars from manufacturers like Porsche, Dodge and Audi.
For the first time in the series, Real Racing 3 will also include a full lineup of real world tracks from the top names around the world including Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Silverstone. With a 22 car grid, gamers will be able to pit themselves against 21 other drivers in one race.
