If you haven’t heard, Samsung hired pro English footballer David Beckham as their Olympic Games Ambassador. In his first bit of promotion, at least that we’ve seen for the Korean manufacturer’s smartphone division, he’s shown playing Beethoven’s Ode To Joy through precise footwork and a 15-foot wall of drums. All this to promote the Galaxy Note Android smartphone and its illustrative capabilities enabled by the S Pen capacitive stylus. Oh, and there’s also mention of the Premium Suite software upgrade near the end of the ad. With the 2012 Summer Olympics just around the corner, our guess is we’ll be seeing more of Beckham in Samsung commercials in the near future.
