AT&T users had mixed reactions to today’s earlier leak of the AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy S II with slide-out QWERTY keyboard. After all, not everybody wants or needs a physical keyboard, so it would be disappointing for them to see bulk added to the original sleek design of the GS2. Well, now it appears both sides of the equation have been accounted for and balanced. According to a tipster, the device pictured above is an AT&T Galaxy S II variant without a slide-out keyboard. It reportedly has AT&T/Galaxy S 2 branding, a WVGA screen, runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and it’s “really sexy.” The image isn’t the most revealing, but we’re hoping this is the real deal. You can compare it to the GS2 variant with the keyboard, which is pictured below. That would give AT&T users a choice and that’s a concept that sits well with us. Honestly, we would love to see every carrier offer keyboard-equipped and keyboard-less versions of their flagship model – but that’s in a perfect world.
