Well, well, what do we have here? The mysterious Samsung slider for AT&T we posted the other day has now been identified. It turns out, it’s indeed the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. As shown by these leaked pictures, the AT&T Galaxy S II, otherwise known as the Samsung Galaxy Attain, will have a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. This will either thrill or upset customers on AT&T.
It’s rare to find a quality Android with a physical keyboard on the second largest wireless carrier in the US, so there will be a large portion of users who will be elated to finally get one, especially one so powerful. On the other hand, adding a keyboard to the deck will make the device thicker, taking away from the ultra sleek design of the original, which will be disappointing to an even larger portion of users. Also different from the original is the button layout and back of the device. Check out more images below, including a pair of benchmark tests using the Linpack and Quadrant benchmarking utilities.
