The Samsung Galaxy Note II, released globally, including on all four major carriers in the US, has a unique Multi Window option that allows users to run two apps side-by-side in a split screen view. Unfortunately, the AT&T model of the popular phablet has been lacking this feature up to this point. Fortunately, the second largest carrier in the nation and Samsung are finally ready to bring Multi Window over to the SGH-i317. The update will be pushed over-the-air today at some point and users should probably expect it to arrive in phases. Check out AT&T’s official statement below.

AT&T’s statement:
AT&T plans to begin rolling out a software update for Samsung Galaxy Note II customers that includes the Multi-Window feature, which allows the user to divide the screen into two active “windows” creating a split screen that enables fluid multitasking between applications. The update will be available for download over the air beginning Dec. 27.
