AT&T has officially announced release details for their upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note phablet (phone + tablet). The Galaxy Note will arrive on the second largest US carrier on February 19th for $299.99 with a two-year agreement. That’s just one day off of the leaked date we posted about last week. Those looking to pre-order the device can do so starting February 5th (delivery on the 17th).
The Galaxy Note features a massive 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280×800, 285 pixel density), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA+/4G LTE connectivity, and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz. The device also comes with a handy writing/drawing tool, essentially a pressure-sensitive capacitive stylus, called the S Pen.
