Along with some crisp press shots, more details on the upcoming Motorola Atrix 2 for AT&T have emerged. The Android handset is, in fact, being called the Atrix 2, at least behind the scenes at AT&T/Motorola. The name “Edison” has also been flying around, so that’s probably just another codename. As for specs, the Atrix 2 will sports a 4.3-inch qHD display, an 8 megapixel rear camera with single LED flash, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and it will come with a 2GB microSD card. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of 4G LTE support, so it’s likely to be bound to AT&T’s 4G HSPA+ network.

Like the original Atrix 4G, the Atrix2 will support Webtop accessories, including an HD Dock and a Laptop Dock. The latter is being labeled as the “Lapdock 100″ and looks quite different from the model that debuted with the original. Most notably, it’s 10.1 inches, which is smaller than the previous 11.6-inch design.
