A week after Verizon crowned itself king of LTE data through 2013 and just one day after Sprint announced future coverage plans, AT&T has flipped the switch to its own 4G LTE network in a handful of new cities across the United States.
New markets with access to AT&T’s lightning-fast data network include: Daytona Beach, Florida; Denver, Colorado; York, Pennsylvania; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Louisville, Kentucky; Tacoma (as well as Federal Way, Auburn, Lakewood, Puyallup), Washington; and Provo-Orem, Utah. Network coverage was also expanded to Annapolis, Maryland.
LTE-enabled smartphones on AT&T running either Android, Windows Phone or iOS include: the Sony Xperia TL, LG Optimus G, Samsung Galaxy Note II, Samsung Galaxy S III, Motorola ATRIX HD, HTC One X, Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820, HTC Windows Phone 8X and Apple iPhone 5. The HTC One X+ and One VX will be released on November 16.
