AT&T will release the LG Escape Android smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity on September 16 for just $49.99 with a new two-year agreement. The budget-friendly handset packs some powerful features for its price-point: a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch qHD true-color IPS display, 4GB of internal storage (expandable with microSD card), a 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, NFC capabilities, 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2150mAh battery, and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
