Asus Transformer Prime specs, pricing and release revealed

Coinciding with NVIDIA’s big Tegra 3 announcement, ASUS has revealed the full specifications and pricing for the Eee Pad Transformer Prime Android tablet. The ultra-sleek device features the Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor, 10.1-inch display with Super IPS+ technology and Gorilla Glass, 1GB of RAM, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear camera, an 8.3mm thin profile, and it’s just 586g light. It will also come in 32GB and 64GB configurations for $499 and $599, respectively. The release date has been pushed back from November to December.

      No, Android and iOS tablets can’t be upgraded like computers. They don’t really need it right now either. We’ll probably see 2GB tablets later this year though.
