W.A.R.P. (short for Wayward Asteroid Redirection Program) is a new game for Android in which you try to protect your planet from a barrage of incoming asteroids. It’s essentially a planet defense style game, but without the ability to shoot down the objects. Instead, you try to deflect them using black holes and shields. We would love to see the ability to score special weapons, like missiles, after avoiding a certain number of collisions. As far as we know, the only special “weapon” you can secure at the moment, is a shield for the planet. W.A.R.P. is available on the Android Market for 95 cents. Watch our video review of the game below.
Note: Apparently there was a bug in the version we tested. The game was recognizing two taps with each screen tap, hence all the red Xs and beeping. Remember, there’s a limit on the number of simultaneous black holes. The good news is that it’s supposedly fixed after a recent update!
