Last week, Sony Ericsson released an Alpha ROM with an early build of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for some of their Xperia smartphones. This week, they’ve revealed their official ICS update path for 2012. Beginning in late March and early April next year, updates will be pushed out to the Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V and Xperia Ray. Soon after, between late April and early May, the Xperia Arc, Xperia Play, Xperia Mini, Xperia Mini Pro, Xperia Neo, Xperia Active and Xperia Pro will get their proper upgrades. Perhaps a month or two later than we would have liked, but Sony is certainly doing their part in keeping their customers up to date.
